Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during exams and procedures to ensure smooth patient care
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to safety standards
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed
• Document patient information accurately in Denticon
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Orthodontic Certification is required
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, ideally in orthodontics
• Comfort working with Denticon practice management software
• Strong patient care skills and a friendly chairside manner
• Ability to work the scheduled shift from 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Understanding of dental radiography techniques and safety
• Proficiency with Denticon or similar dental software
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Attention to detail in sterilization and infection control
