Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist with patient preparation and instrument setup
• Maintain accurate dental records and update patient charts
• Sterilize and organize orthodontic equipment between appointments
• Provide friendly patient education on oral hygiene and appliance care

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• High school diploma or GED; additional dental coursework a plus
• Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and appliances
• Proficiency in dental software and record keeping
• Ability to follow infection control protocols
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
