Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat short-term and long-term patients in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders to improve independence in ADLs, functional mobility, cognition, and upper extremity function
• Supervise and collaborate with COTAs to ensure timely documentation and effective treatments
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team to promote safe discharges and maximize each resident's functional potential
• Implement various treatment approaches to enhance quality of life and overall well-being

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Ohio
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
• Skill in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Proficiency in clinical documentation and time management
