Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide life-saving respiratory therapy to critically ill neonates in the NICU
• Manage and monitor ventilators for premature and full-term infants
• Collaborate with neonatologists and NICU nurses to deliver comprehensive care
• Perform respiratory assessments and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate and support families during their baby's stay

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• NICU experience strongly preferred
• Ohio state license or eligibility to obtain one

Knowledge & Skills

• Neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
• Mechanical ventilation management for neonates
• Understanding of neonatal respiratory conditions such as RDS and BPD
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
