Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests and procedures
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment with precision
• Analyze test results and report findings to clinical staff
• Adhere to strict quality control and safety protocols
• Handle and process biological specimens properly
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain patient confidentiality

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent (ASCP preferred)
• Licensure as required by the state of Missouri
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control standards
• Proficiency with laboratory information systems and basic computer applications
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
