Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient specimens accurately and efficiently
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers
• Conduct quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure reliable results
• Document and report test results in a timely and precise manner
• Follow established safety, infection control, and HIPAA protocols
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from ASCP or equivalent
• Missouri state licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician, if applicable
• Prior clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of laboratory information systems and automated analyzers
• Understanding of laboratory safety, quality control, and infection prevention
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
