Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians in ambulatory care by preparing patients and rooms
Collect and record vital signs and patient histories accurately
Perform routine clinical tasks such as phlebotomy and specimen collection
Administer medications and assist with procedures per protocols
Document care thoroughly and timely in the electronic health record
Coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments to keep care on track
Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-friendly clinical environment
Communicate clearly with patients and team members to deliver excellent service

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
Medical Assistant diploma or certificate is a plus
BLS/CPR certification required or willing to obtain
Phlebotomy certification preferred
Comfortable working in an ambulatory clinic setting and supporting a team
Strong patient-focused communication skills

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with electronic health record systems and clinical documentation
Solid clinical skills: vitals, specimen collection, basic procedures
Infection control and safety practices in an outpatient setting
Excellent time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic
Friendly patient interactions and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow protocols and collaborate with clinical staff
