Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional demeanor
Prepare patients for exams and assist providers with ambulatory procedures
Collect and document vitals, histories, and other clinical information accurately
Administer point-of-care tests and assist with specimen collection as required
Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and restock supplies
Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with the care team
Support documentation in the electronic medical record to ensure smooth continuity of care

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
Active Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working in an ambulatory outpatient setting
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to pass required background checks and credentialing

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant program completion preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with outpatient clinical workflows and patient intake
Comfortable taking vitals, performing point-of-care testing, and basic clinical procedures
Experience or willingness to learn electronic medical record systems
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
