Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate patient care in an ambulatory clinic setting
Assist clinicians with exams, procedures, and patient flow
Collect and process specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed
Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical supplies for efficient care
Document patient encounters accurately in the medical record
Communicate clearly with patients and caregivers to explain instructions and follow-up

Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or completion of an accredited MA program preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained upon hire
High school diploma or GED required; additional clinical training a plus
Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in an ambulatory clinic environment and support a fast-paced team
Prior ambulatory or outpatient experience preferred but not mandatory

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical skills for vitals, specimen collection, and basic procedures
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Infection control and standard precautions knowledge
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Customer service mindset and ability to work collaboratively
