Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other staff to develop and update care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maryland - must be in good standing
• Current CPR certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize care
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
