Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with braces adjustments and Invisalign treatments
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Take and process dental X-rays as needed
• Sterilize and organize instruments and treatment rooms
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• X-ray certification (state-specific as required)
• Minimum 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience
• Proficiency with braces and Invisalign procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of orthodontic treatments and appliances
• Skilled in taking and processing dental X-rays
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working with patients of all ages
