Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficiency
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
• Take and process dental X-rays as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and appointment scheduling
• Support a positive, team-oriented dental practice

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification in Maryland
• Radiology certification preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required
• 1+ year of dental assisting experience a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a dental assisting program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental terminology and procedures
• Experience with dental software and digital X-ray systems
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
