Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients by assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
• Monitor and record vital signs and communicate changes promptly to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
• Document patient care accurately and contribute to effective care plans
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care
• Participate in orientation and training to continuously improve skills and patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) — required
• Active or eligible LNA license for New Hampshire
• Willingness to participate in required orientation prior to assignment
• Comfortable performing standard patient care tasks and basic documentation
• Background check and immunizations as required by facility policies
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (if not current, assistance may be available)

Education

• Certified/Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care fundamentals and hands-on clinical skills
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety best practices
• Good communication skills with patients, families and care team
• Team-oriented attitude and ability to follow direction from nursing staff
• Time management and reliability in a fast-paced hospital setting
