Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (per diem shifts)

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to elderly residents, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Support residents with mobility, feeding, and personal hygiene
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families

Qualifications

Active GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification in Maryland
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills
Must wear a photo badge at all times
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of state-approved GNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric care principles
Skill in taking vital signs and observing patient conditions
Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols
Team collaboration and interpersonal skills
