Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform floor care including stripping, waxing, and burnishing resilient flooring
• Operate floor equipment such as scrubbers, burnishers, and carpet extractors
• Maintain cleanliness of patient and non-patient areas to high standards
• Properly handle chemicals and follow infection control protocols
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Communicate equipment issues promptly to ensure timely repairs
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through attentive service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of experience in floor care maintenance preferred
• Floor Tech Certificate preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Comfortable with exposure to bodily fluids and wearing PPE

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Floor equipment operation (vacuums, burnishers, scrubbers, etc.)
• Floor maintenance procedures (mopping, stripping, finishing)
• Chemical handling and infection control practices
• Attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable and punctual work ethic
