Roles & Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive care in a fast-paced Emergency Room
• Administer medications and treatments following approved protocols and state regulations
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and evaluations accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
• Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance initiatives
• Provide clinical expertise and support to other units to ensure seamless patient care
• Use critical thinking to enhance patient safety and experience, escalating concerns as needed

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN License required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC or TNS certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency Room nursing experience
• Strong nursing process and patient care skills
• Medication administration proficiency
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
