Roles & Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team to care for patients
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques and state laws
• Document patient care according to standards of care
• Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
• Develop and execute individualized patient plans of care including patient and family instruction
• Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to support longitudinal patient care plans
• Use critical thinking to ensure patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately
• Engage in professional nursing continuum and peer review processes

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
• TNCC or TNS certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of ER nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends

• Expertise in nursing process and patient assessment
• Proficient in medication administration and documentation
• Strong critical thinking and patient safety focus
• Skilled in interdisciplinary collaboration and patient education
