Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Assist dentists during a variety of procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Ensure all instruments are sterilized and comply with infection control standards
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and provide a welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in dental hygiene preferred
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and techniques
• Proficiency with dental software and digital imaging
• Ability to educate patients effectively on oral health
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Meticulous attention to infection control and safety protocols
