Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care including cleanings and scaling
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and overall health
• Assist dentists during procedures and patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure infection control standards
• Collaborate with the dental team to create positive patient experiences

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Current CPR certification
• Experience with dental practice management software
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene techniques and best practices
• Proficiency in dental radiography
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Strong interpersonal and patient education skills
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity
