Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists during patient procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Maintain clean and organized treatment rooms
• Document patient care and update records
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Dental Assistant certification required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in dental assisting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent patient communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficient with dental software and digital x-rays
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude
