Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Assist patients in achieving functional goals to improve their quality of life
• Collaborate with a dedicated therapy team to develop individualized treatment plans
• Document patient progress accurately and timely
• Maintain productivity standards in a supportive environment

Qualifications

• Current COTA certification in New Mexico or compact eligibility
• 1-3 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
• Familiarity with rehabilitation documentation and regulations
• Compassionate patient care approach
• Time management and organizational skills
