Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care that improves daily life
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) while preserving dignity
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility to reduce fall risk
• Maintain clean, safe environments by following infection control and facility protocols
• Communicate clearly with the care team and families to ensure continuity of care
• Document patient interactions and observations in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (state registry as applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to follow care plans, facility policies, and infection-control standards
• Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team; strong communication skills

Education

• CNA certification (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of basic patient care techniques and infection prevention
• Comfort with taking and documenting vital signs and patient observations
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with residents
• Attention to detail for accurate charting and following care plans
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
