Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and respectful direct care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain safe, clean, and comfortable patient environments
- Support mealtimes, feeding assistance, and hydration needs
- Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-centered attitude
- Previous experience in long term care or similar setting is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited CNA program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills for resident care and safety
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to follow care plans and report observations clearly
- Familiarity with infection control and resident dignity practices
- Comfort with safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
