Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting in a respectful manner
Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through clear, kind communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable performing patient care tasks and following care plans
Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care and hygiene practices
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Competence in patient lifting, transfers, and mobility assistance
Basic charting and documentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
