Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (7 days/week, 35 hours guaranteed)

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of an OTR
  • Implement treatment plans to help patients regain independence in daily living activities
  • Document patient progress accurately and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques
  • Adapt activities and environments to maximize patient function and safety

Qualifications

  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in California
  • At least 1 year of experience as a COTA in a clinical setting
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Education

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

  • Expertise in therapeutic exercises and activities of daily living
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for diverse patient populations
