Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents—assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and changes in resident condition, communicating concerns promptly to the nursing team
• Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Document care accurately and timely in resident charts and electronic records
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and care team members to execute individualized care plans
• Engage residents with respect and dignity, promoting independence and quality of life

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification required
• Current CPR certification preferred or completed upon hire if required by facility
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfortable assisting with lifting/transfers and performing physical aspects of resident care
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient-centered care and basic nursing support
• Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
• Infection control practices and safe handling procedures
• Resident mobility assistance and safe transfer techniques
• Basic charting and documentation practices; ability to follow care plans
• Compassionate communication with residents and families
