Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and support with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting while preserving dignity
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient observations
• Communicate patient condition changes to the nursing team in a timely manner
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Document care provided in accordance with facility policy and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
• Participate in facility training, quality initiatives, and infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification or registry in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
• Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Willingness to submit to background check and drug screening as required
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident care
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Basic infection control and safety practices
• Clear and professional communication with patients, families, and staff
• Charting and documentation skills, attention to detail
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
