Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Support safe transfers and mobility while following facility protocols
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Practice infection control and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered, high-quality care
Help create a welcoming, respectful atmosphere for residents and families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Active or eligible for Pennsylvania CNA registry
Must be able to pass background checks and required health screenings
Basic CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first approach
Ability to perform physical aspects of the role, including lifting and standing for shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of ADLs, infection control, and basic patient care procedures
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and observing clinical changes
Ability to follow care plans and communicate clearly with licensed nursing staff
Basic computer or electronic charting familiarity preferred
Team-oriented mindset and strong time management skills
