Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate clearly with nursing staff, families, and multidisciplinary team members
Support therapeutic and recreational activities that promote resident well-being
Document care timely and accurately in resident records

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Certification/license in good standing with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements (TB test, immunizations)
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and safe transfer techniques
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, observation of changes in condition
Infection prevention and proper use of PPE
Good documentation practices and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for older adults
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
