Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific days and exact start/end times to be confirmed by facility (Day/Night not specified)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
Take and record vitals and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of resident care
Support safe transfers and fall-prevention practices
Help create a warm, respectful environment that preserves dignity
Collaborate with the care team to carry out individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid Pennsylvania CNA registration or eligibility to transfer
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
Clear, concise documentation and reporting
Infection control best practices
Teamwork, empathy and strong interpersonal skills
