Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Assist residents with safe transfers and mobility support
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Accurately document care and observations in the patient record
Maintain infection control and a clean, safe care environment
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team
Support a positive resident experience and promote dignity in care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (PA preferred)
Active CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Compassion, reliability, and a team-first attitude
Previous long-term care or nursing home experience preferred but new CNAs are welcome to apply

Education

CNA certification (state of Pennsylvania) and high school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
Basic vital signs measurement and interpretation
Infection prevention and control practices
Fundamental charting and electronic health record (EHR) familiarity
Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
Time management and safe patient handling techniques
