Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Support patients with personal hygiene and grooming to maintain their dignity and comfort
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Mexico
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• COVID-19 vaccination or valid religious/medical exemption
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and team members
• Knowledge of basic patient care principles and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Compassion and empathy for patients in need
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and vital sign measurement
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
