Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no call, no holidays
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
- Position patients and operate imaging equipment to target treatment areas precisely
- Monitor patients during treatment and provide reassurance and support
- Document treatment sessions and maintain detailed patient records
- Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to adjust plans and ensure quality care
- Follow strict safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Active Idaho radiation therapy license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Successful completion of a radiation therapy program and certification by ARRT (or eligible)
- Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen and required health screenings
- Positive, compassionate attitude with a commitment to excellent patient care
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in operating radiation therapy equipment such as linear accelerators
- Strong understanding of radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
- Skilled in patient positioning, immobilization, and simulation procedures
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and the care team
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment
