Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory therapy to patients in acute care settings
• Assess patients' respiratory status and develop individualized treatment plans
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and assist in code blue situations
• Accurately document treatments and maintain respiratory equipment

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in Iowa or willingness to obtain one
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Previous respiratory therapy experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply
• Ability to commit to 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend and every other holiday
• Must pass background check and health screening requirements
