Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening Shift)
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
- Help with mobility, positioning, and safe transfers to ensure resident comfort and safety
- Support residents during meals and monitor intake as needed
- Document care services accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
- Ability to physically assist and transfer residents safely
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Must pass background checks and any required health screenings
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic resident care principles and ADL assistance
- Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
- Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for elderly residents
- Attention to detail in documentation and reporting
