Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes to the nursing team
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Support residents during meals and ensure proper nutrition and hydration
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
• Document care provided in a timely and accurate manner
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• Must bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with facility requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care principles and safety protocols
• Skilled in observing and reporting changes in resident condition
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and attention to detail
• Empathy and a patient-centered approach to care
