Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report any changes in resident condition promptly
Support safe transfers and repositioning, following established care plans and safety protocols
Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control procedures

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification and current state registration in Pennsylvania
Current basic health requirements as required by the facility (immunizations, TB testing)
Ability to pass background check and required screenings
Comfortable with physical aspects of the role including lifts and repositioning
Strong communication and teamwork skills; resident-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and standard precautions
Familiarity with care plans and reporting changes to nursing staff
Basic electronic or paper charting experience preferred
