Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Assist nursing staff with vital signs, documentation, and monitoring changes in condition
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Support mobility needs including transfers and ambulation with proper techniques
Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the care team
Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

Active CNA certification valid for Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Compassionate attitude, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care and personal care skills
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
Comfortable with electronic charting or willing to learn facility systems
