Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Assist nursing staff with routine tasks and follow care plans accurately
Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Support a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
Build positive relationships with residents and family members through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-approved) — required
Valid state-required immunizations and ability to pass background checks (per facility policy)
Comfortable providing direct patient care with empathy and professionalism
Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with nursing staff
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus (preferred, not mandatory)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in personal care and assistance with ADLs
Basic understanding of infection control and safety practices
Ability to follow care plans and document observations accurately
Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Patient-centered approach with good interpersonal skills
