Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and toileting in a respectful manner
Take and record vital signs, observe changes and promptly report them to nursing staff
Document care and resident interactions accurately and timely
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families and the care team
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control best practices

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable assisting with hands-on patient care and mobility
Ability to pass background check, TB screening and any facility-required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
Reliable availability for scheduled shifts and punctual attendance

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of resident care and ADLs
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control principles and safe handling of linens and equipment
Patient transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and families
Time management and teamwork in a busy care environment
