Contract Type: Per-Diem

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Monitor and report changes in resident condition promptly to nursing staff
Accurately document care provided and observations in resident records
Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver person-centered care
Participate in unit tasks such as restocking supplies and assisting with meal service

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain)
High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
Good communication skills, compassion, reliability, and a team-player attitude

Education

High School Diploma or GED
State CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs
Comfort with resident transfers and safe lifting techniques
Infection control and hand hygiene practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a care team
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
