Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and resident behaviors accurately
Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention measures
Support bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting with respect and dignity
Document care provided and communicate resident changes to the nursing team
Follow infection control practices and facility safety protocols
Build positive relationships with residents and their families to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and any required health screenings
Strong communication and teamwork skills; a caring attitude toward residents
Previous long-term care or nursing home experience is a plus but not always required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic resident care
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Good observation skills and ability to report changes in resident condition
Effective communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
