Location: Lancaster, PA

Start Date: 05-22-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift, specific start/end times and days to be confirmed (schedule provided by facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and proper use of mobility aids
Maintain a tidy, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or required per facility policy)
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Comfortable working in a team-driven clinical environment and following care plans
Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited/state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
Attention to detail for documentation and following care plans
