Location: Lancaster, PA

Start Date: 04-28-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Assist nursing team with basic clinical tasks and patient comfort
Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients
Support mobility, feeding, hygiene, and toileting needs with dignity
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania (required)
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; successful completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with ADLs and patient mobility assistance
Basic clinical observation skills and the ability to report changes
Good communication and teamwork skills with nursing staff and families
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
Respect for patient privacy, safety, and dignity at all times
