Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, monitor patients, and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning while maintaining safety
Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team
Support documentation and charting to ensure continuity and quality of care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — aligned with facility requirements
Active/state CNA license as required by Georgia regulations
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and adapting to unit needs
Ability to pass facility health screenings and background checks

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and assistance with ADLs
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Infection prevention and safe patient handling
Strong communication, teamwork, and time management
Compassionate bedside manner and attention to detail
