Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff promptly
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families through attentive care
• Support nursing team with patient mobility, transfers, and fall prevention

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must bring a state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care techniques and infection control practices
• Compassion, empathy, and patience in caregiving
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities
• Basic medical terminology and understanding of vital signs
• Adaptability to different patient needs and unit workflows
