Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) with respect and patience
Take and record vital signs and communicate changes promptly to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Document resident care accurately and timely in the facility record
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current state CNA certification (required)
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) — state certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care tasks
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
Basic vital signs assessment and documentation skills
Familiarity with electronic or paper charting practices
Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
Ability to follow care plans and report clinical changes promptly
