Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with ADLs like bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe transfers and mobility support, using proper body mechanics
Help create a warm, respectful environment that preserves resident dignity
Document care activities accurately and communicate clearly at handoff
Collaborate with teammates to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of Connecticut
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide patient-centered, compassionate care
Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team
Previous long-term care or facility experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Current state CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing care tasks and activities of daily living
Ability to follow care plans and accurately document observations
Skilled in safe resident handling and infection control practices
Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Customer-service mindset when interacting with residents and families
