Contract Type: Per-Diem

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide attentive, compassionate basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and communicate changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and ambulation
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Support nursing staff with documentation and timely communication of patient needs
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required) — must be eligible to work in Georgia
Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is a strong plus
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Reliable, punctual, and committed to patient-focused teamwork
Ability to pass facility background checks and any required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in personal care, bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and routine observations
Strong communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff and families
Knowledge of basic infection prevention and patient safety practices
Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
