Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility support
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly and accurately
Support safe patient transfers and positioning, using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
Build positive relationships with patients, families and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Georgia
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Compassionate bedside manner, strong communication skills, and reliability

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in safe patient handling and basic clinical care tasks
Familiarity with charting and basic documentation practices
Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients and families
Ability to follow care plans and direction from licensed nursing staff
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
